Welcome to the journal

It has been a whirlwind three years here at Urban Antidote. If you’d told me three years ago what would unfold, I think I would have died of excitement.

Working for myself has always been my dream, and I think that alone would be enough to sustain me. However, working with brands I have literally idolised since my teenage years (as a brands girly hehe), bringing to life work for incredible clients (so incredible I contractually can’t tell you their names), hosting workshops, managing hundreds of dream wedding briefs, meeting amazing people in and outside of the industry, and so much more really is a MASSIVE cherry on top!

Life has a strange way of making these incredible experiences seem normal, and I have found myself not sharing a lot of what I have been up to recently. Call me insecure, but I’ll go to post something and think, “No one cares!” lol.

I’m going to change that and have decided to become an over sharer via the journal. So if you are interested in hearing what we are up to in our land, pour a cup of tea and take a seat. Welcome to Urban Antidote’s Journal.

Throughout this journey, I have worked things out along the way through trial and error. It can be hard putting yourself out there and starting something from the ground up, which is an extension of yourself, so thank you for your support and for sticking with me.

I am excited to see how Urban Antidote will evolve and grow in the future; however, I know that we have found our own unique style that I am extremely proud of. Yes, it’s colourful, sometimes floofy, and always cute, hehe.
